The art is completed!
We can report today that a spectacular art project contracted almost exactly one year ago has been installed.
The installation entitled “The Islander” (designed by Barbara Trautman) on the island of Riems in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania beams bright red over the landscape. All 190 icosahedrons (polyhedron with 20 triangular faces) are now anchored firmly in the island’s soil.
Another art installation fabricated by our firm will dazzle you in Berlin, on the S-Bahn ride between the stations Friedrichstrasse and the main train station: the sculpture “More Light” designed by Michel de Broin with Thilo Folkerts. This free-hanging, spectacular sculpture is connected by thin stainless steel wires and suspended in space. The light feature will begin when the buildings are open for use.
Our third new art collaboration can be seen at night in the walkway under the S-Bahn underpass at the Bleibtreustrasse station in Berlin-Charlottenburg, transforming a previously dark and uncomfortable walkway into a new promenade experience. Now this whole area is brightened by playful sculptural light.
